Privacy Policy

Vertical is a personal journal for your pole dance practice. It was built so that your progress and photos stay yours.

What we collect

Nothing. Vertical has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, see, sell or share any of your information.

Where your progress is kept

Your name, profile photo, move progress, notes and photos are stored on your iPhone.
If iCloud is turned on, your progress, notes and badges are also backed up to your own private iCloud database, run by Apple. Only you can access it; we cannot see it. Photos stay only on your iPhone. You can turn this off in iPhone Settings › your name › iCloud.

Photos

When you add a photo, Vertical can only see the photos you choose. Information such as location is removed before the photo is saved.

Deleting your data

Delete the Vertical app to remove everything from your iPhone. To remove the iCloud copy, go to iPhone Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage › Vertical › Delete Data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
